Niratcha Tungtisanont: Miss Thailand Earth 2011 (Miss Earth 2011 contestant)
Thailand has its official Miss Earth representative, and she is Niratcha Tungtisanont from Bangkok. Tungtisanont will represent Thailand in Miss Earth 2011 beauty pageant at Manila, Philippines on 3rd December, 2011. It was originally scheduled to be held at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand. However the pageant organizers decided to move the pageant back to the Philippines due to the Massive flooding in Thailand. Miss Earth 2010 Nicole Faria will crown her successor at the end of the beauty contest.
Niratcha Tungtisanont tells to Miss Earth.tv Mediates, “My family has taught me to give and to share with others. I believe that giving is an essential part of every person's life. I think it is better to give than to receive. Not only does giving benefits others, but it also makes me feel that my life is worth something. It gives me a sense of purpose to actually make a difference. While helping others benefits me, my true reasons for doing such is because it is the right thing to do."
Aligning with the International Year of the Forests, this year’s performance of the Miss Earth beauty pageant is expected to be a grand showcase of Thailand’s rich
culture, tourist spots, and, more importantly, its efforts to save and protect the
environment. The theme of this year’s Miss Earth edition will be "Smile for Earth,
for All"
