Lindsay Japal: Miss Cayman Islands 2011 (Miss Universe 2012 contestant) (Miss World 2011 contestant)
23-year-old Lindsay Japal has been named as the grand winner of Miss Cayman Islands 2011 beauty contest on Saturday night 24th September, 2011, at the Lion's Community Centre in George Town, Cayman Islands. Lindsay has been crowned Miss Cayman Islands 2011-12 by Cristin Alexander, Miss Cayman Islands 2010.
Lindsay Japal will compete in both Miss World 2011 and Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageant.
Miss Cayman Islands 2011 winner, Lindsay Japal says, “I am overwhelmed and excited but I am ready to do what need to do to make my island proud" and promises to use the crown to support the Central Caribbean Marine Institute who oversee ecology and sustainability on the island.
Janelle Muttoo was the first runner-up who is from George Town and Crystal Tomlinson was the second runner-up who is from North Side.
