Coldplay Live in Manila 2012 Concert?
"A british superband Coldplay is scheduled to open their Asia Tour 2012 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. A 2 months long tour will continue in Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila and Tokyo (sic)." the short post, dated October 19, 2011, reads.

There are no official announcements yet regarding the said Coldplay Asia Tour 2012 nor the Coldplay Live in Manila 2012 from the major concert producers in the country. But if the said concert tour will push through, expect that this page will be updated with ticket prices, venue and other info about the Manila concert.

Wardrobe Malfunction Case: Appeals court favors CBS in Janet Jackson ruling

Wardrobe malfunction ruling affirmed. | Photo: Idolator
A U.S. appeals court has again tossed out the $550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp. (CBS) for airing Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" on national television.

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) fined CBS after viewers got a glimpse of the singer's breast for 9/16 of a second while she was performing during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. Justin Timberlake, who performed with Jackson in the show, called the incident a "wardrobe malfunction."

In 2008, the U.S. Court of Appeals in Philadelphia had ruled in that the fine should be voided because the FFC’s policy on determining indecency was “arbitrary and capricious.” The dispute reopened in 2009 after the U.S. Supreme Court ordered a review of the ruling.

The appeals court affirmed its 2008 ruling on Wednesday.

The FCC has issued a statement regarding the court's decision but did not say whether it would appeal the ruling.

“While we are disappointed by the court of appeal’s decision, we note that the court overturned the F.C.C.’s 2006 forfeiture order on narrow procedural grounds. In the meantime, the F.C.C. will continue to use all of the authority at its disposal to ensure that the nation’s broadcasters fulfill the public interest responsibilities that accompany their use of the public airwaves,” the commission said.

CBS, meanwhile, was gratified with the news.

“We are gratified that once again the court has ruled in our favor,” the company said. “We are hopeful that this will help lead the FCC to return to the policy of restrained indecency enforcement it followed for decades.”

If you want to sing along, here's "Try With Me" lyrics:

Nicole Scherzinger - "Try With Me" Lyrics

And you said, leave your keys on the counter
And you said, call me back at eight
I don't care , that you left me there for hours
But you said, we had what it takes

Why's it feel like you're there
When you're already gone
Why's it feel like you care
When I know that you don't
Everybody needs a chance at love
That's all we need
If you wanna have a chance at us
Then try with me

Too proud for love, he tells me
Too hard to give it one more shot
Don't drawl me in, he wants me
But now it's too late to give up

So don't say, you leave your keys on the counter
And don't say, you call me back at eight

Why's it feel like you're there
When you're already gone

Why's it feel like you care
When I know that you don't
Everybody needs a chance at love
That's all we need noypistuff
If you wanna have a chance at us
Then try with me

Don't say a word
If you know that it hurts
You know that it hurts
You know that it hurts

Don't say a word
If you know that it hurts
You know that it hurts
You know that it hurts

Why's it feel like he's there
When I know that he's gone
Why's it feel like he cares
When I know that he don't
Everybody needs a chance at love
That's all we need
If you wanna have a chance at us
Then try with me
