Rapture, Doomsday to occur on October 21, 2011?

Rapture is defined by Wikipedia as a "reference to the being caught up of 1 Thessalonians 4:17 when in the end times Christians will be gathered together in the air to meet Christ." In short, it's Doomsday!

If Mayans believe that the end of the world will be in 2012, a Christian radio network is convinced that it will be today, October, 21, 2011.

According to the group's president Harold Camping who had apologized for setting the wrong Doomsday date on May 21 earlier this year, the end of the world will be today and will include an occurrence of a "great earthquake" and the rapture:
These events could not be more opposite in nature, the one more wonderful than can be imagined; the other more horrific than can be imagined.

A great earthquake will occur the Bible describes it as "such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." This earthquake will be so powerful it will throw open all graves. The remains of the all the believers who have ever lived will be instantly transformed into glorified spiritual bodies to be forever with God.

On the other hand the bodies of all unsaved people will be thrown out upon the ground to be shamed. The inhabitants who survive this terrible earthquake will exist in a world of horror and chaos beyond description.
The 89 year-old retired engineer spent millions on more than 5,000 billboards and print ads worldwide to spread his May 21 Rapture prediction. A good portion of it said to have come from donations from his followers.

Through a book published in 1992, Camping previously predicted the Judgment Day to be happening in 1994. Justifying his first wrong prediction, he reportedly said "important subsequent biblical information was not yet known and there may be something he overlooked."
