Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, daughter of Katherine Esther (née Scruse) and Joseph Walter Jackson.[4] She is the youngest of nine children. The family was of lower-middle-class and devout Jehovah's Witnesses. By the time she was a toddler, Janet's older brothers: Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael had already begun to perform on stage at nightclubs and theaters as the Jackson 5. In March 1969, the group signed with Motown Records, and by the end of the year the group recorded the first of their four consecutive number-one singles. The Jackson 5's success allowed the entire family to move to the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles, California in 1971. The Jacksons settled in a gated mansion that they referred to as "Hayvenhurst."

As a young child, Janet's career aspiration was to be a jockey. However, after the Jackson 5's success began to diminish, Joseph decided to bring use the rest of the children in the act. On April 9, 1974, Janet made her debut performance at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, alongside her eight older siblings. Janet quickly became a standout in the show, winning over crowds and critics with impersonations of Cher, Marie Osmond, Toni Tennille and Mae West.

In 1976, the Jackson family's Vegas act had caught the attention of CBS president Fred Silverman. The network was desperately trying to find a new variety act to replace its recently defunct The Sonny & Cher Show. Debuting on June 16, 1976, The Jacksons became the first television variety show starring an African-American family. The series lasted two seasons. As the 1980s began, Janet continued her career in television, in the sitcoms: Good Times, A New Kind of Family and Diff'rent Strokes, as well as the primetime drama Fame.

Emma Watson

Emma Watson didn't need any Harry Potter type magic or trickery to find some good shopping in Los Angeles!
The 17-year old British actress, best known for her role of Hermione Granger in the popular Harry Potter series, hit the stores on Robertson for the TV news show Access Hollywood. With show host Maria Menunous taking her around, Watson found herself being interviewed while trying on Kitson shoes at the LA shopping hotspot, and trying on the popular OmniPeace tank top that is in the closets of American actresses Courteney Cox Arquette and Jennifer Aniston. Because it had been Maria's 29th birthday the previous day, the Access Hollywood host decided that Emily should have a Sprinkles cupcake to have the full Los Angeles experience! Her favorite was the "red velvet," and as far as her shopping style went, she told Maria that unlike her character Hermione, who's a bookwormish tomboy, in her real life she loves "girlie things."

We photographed her with lots of girlie things in the photo viewer as she tried on clothes at Kitson and Madison next door, so check it out, and the video too!

The 5th installment of the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is in theaters on July 13. Don't forget to book your movie tickets, read reviews, see trailers on Celebrity Babylon by clicking on the "Film & TV" link above!

World's Largest Swimming Pool

Already drawing the crowds in the South American resort of San Alfonso del Mar in Chile, this artificial lagoon and swimming pool is eight hectares in size and contains an incredible 250,000 cubic meters of water. Acknowledged by Guinness World Records as being the world’s largest swimming pool, the lagoon trounces all other record holders in the category, including the Orthlieb pool in Casablanca, Morocco, itself a huge 150 meters by 100 meters – the San Alfonso pool is 1km in length. The revolutionary clear water artificial lagoons, transparent to a depth of 35 meters and unprecedented in design and construction methods, are the brainchild of Crystal Lagoons founder, biochemist and Chilean businessman Fernando Fischmann. Equivalent in size to an incredible 6,000 standard domestic pools, details of its technology are to be unveiled for the first time at Cityscape Dubai later this month.

Megan Fox

Megan Fox captured the eyes of movie enthusiasts with her latest silver screen appearance in the box office hit- Transformers. Alongside her love interest Shia LaBeouf, who played the lead role Sam Witwicky, Megan caught the attention of the audience with her sleek body oozing with $exiness and appeal. Although a lot of critics would say she short on her acting prowess (who needs talent if you look as hot as Megan?!), she managed to make herself a big hit by adding just the right amount of hot and spice to her Mikaela Banes character in the Transformers movie.
Megan Denise Fox was born in May 16, 1986 at Tennessee, USA. This 5’6" standing regal beauty started to show her inclination for Hollywood at the young age of five. She started her dancing and acting training at a very early age. When she turned 10, Megan moved in to Florida and continued her academic and acting training. At the age of 13, she started modeling for various brands and even managed to grab recognitions for modeling. She has won one of the awards in the America Model and Talent Convention in Southern Carolina back in 1999.
Megan’s acting career started when she made a debut in the film Holiday in the Sun last 2001. She played Brianna Wallace alongside Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. You possibly recognized here in her appearance in the movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen with Lindsay Lohan. She also played a character in the TV sitcom, Hope and Faith. She also has several appearances in the soap opera Ocean Ave and a few episodes in What I Like About You.
A lot of people would tell you that she looks a lot like Angelina Jolie. But with Megan’s continued popularity, there is no stopping her from gracing magazine spreads and headliners. With the entire buzz going out for Megan Fox and because of her natural foxiness, she started landing on magazine pages including a photo spread spot at FHM in 2005. With the exposure she was getting and thousands of fans to back her up, Megan managed to grab the no. 68 spot on FHM’s 100 $exiest Women of 2006. As though she has become an FHM favorite, she posted for the magazine for another spread in its March issue.
Clad in just a brassiere against in an intriguing white-dominated space- this is usual look of Megan Fox FHM’s poses. Her presence can instantly turn a bathroom or a bedroom into heaven, which is a good contrast alongside Megan’s commanding $exiness.
Posing almost bare-n*ked in most magazines, a lot of people are intrigued with Megan’s display of tattoo art. She has a total of five artworks on her skin. She has a personal poem on her ribcage, a star on her ankle, a Shakespeare line on her shoulder blade, a Monroe on her forearm and a "Brian" tattoo just above her thingy.
Who’s "Brian"? Brian Austin Green, the guy from Beverly Hills 90210, is Megan’s long-term boyfriend and fiancé. When talking about the Brian tattoo, Megan would always say, she could always name her kid Brian, just in case their relationship wouldn’t work out.
